TANA FORD
Tana Ford is an artist and writer best known for
her 12 issue run on Marvel's Silk starring Cindy Moon.
Her first graphic novel Duck! won the Queer Press Grant in 2010.
The sequel Duck! Second Chances was a Lambda Literary Award finalist in 2014.
Tana came in 2nd place for the HUGO Award this year for her work on
Nnedi Okorafor's Black Panther: Long Live the King. She teamed up with Nnedi again on
their creator-owned work LaGuardia (Berger Books, Dark Horse) which is on shelves now.
Tana just finished a 4 issue run of Livewire written by the incredible Vita Ayala
and edited by Heather Antos at Valiant Comics.
Tana has drawn for Silk, The Amazing Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, New Warriors,
Jem and the Holograms, Star Trek, Black Panther, and Livewire.

HEADQUARTERS: South Florida via Boston. It's lovely but too hot.
PETS: (3) All Dogs. Unless you count the birbs, who are half wild. Lady Bird & Larry Bird, because I am good at naming things.
CURRENTLY WATCHING: Dead To Me on Neflix, Euphoria on HBO (both excellent!) but really anything with brilliant writing and female friendships is up my alley.
